FELTED BOOTS VILLAGE CLASS 1.20.18 - 1.21.18

195.00

What could be better than a pair of cozy felted boots, custom made to your own feet?  Our felting methods are as simple as they get, soap and water and lots of gentle rubbing!  You will watch raw tufts of wool transform into a workable material under the guidance of your own hands.  If time allows, students may be able to work on a second project: a felted bag, quiver, or a winter vest.  Please note that this is a "village style" class, meaning that Bow Making, Leather Shoes/Boots, Leather Backpacks, and Arrow Making are being taught simultaneously in the same space.  This allows participants to be exposed to several arts while focusing on one specific skill.

January 20 & 21 :: Marrowstone Island, Washington :: 9 am- 4 pm :: Ages 16 - Adult (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) :: Instructor Peter Yencken :: $165 + $30 material fee
