Plant medicine can be effective and helpful allies for conditions that stem from the many stresses in life, from insomnia and anxiety to muscle tension and aches and pains to simply feeling burned out.  In this class you will learn about herbs and other therapies that help your body, both physically and mentally, cope with stress and minor anxieties so you can feel more grounded and relaxed.  We will go over different types of insomnia and which plants may work best for you individually, as well as herbs that will help boost your energy levels without harming your natural balance.  Many of these herbs can be cultivated in your own garden or gathered ethically within our bioregion.  All students will come home with a remedy of their choice (sleep elixir, energy tonic, etc), a salve, and a custom herbal tea blend.
